Today, some of our team stood at the White House for the signing of a historic executive order advancing ibogaine research in the United States. This moment represents the voices of so many people—many of whom were not in the room, but whose impact made this day possible. Behind today is an intense, coordinated effort—advocates, researchers, policymakers, families, and individuals who stepped forward to share and learn about ibogaine. It happened because people were willing to speak up, often publicly and at personal cost, to push this conversation forward. Americans for Ibogaine has been proud to help lead this effort—working to elevate the science, support state and federal policy pathways, and bring forward the voices that made this moment possible. We want to especially thank our Americans for Ibogaine ambassadors—individuals who chose to share deeply personal stories in service of something bigger than themselves. Your voices helped move this from the margins into a national conversation, and this moment belongs to you as much as anyone. Our CEO, Bryan Hubbard, Board Member Marcus Luttrell, and ambassadors Henry Berkowitz and Alex West were present for the signing. This executive order is a step forward—but it’s also a reminder of why this work matters. Too many people are still without access to effective options. We don’t have to agree on everything to agree on that. Americans for Ibogaine also extends its appreciation to @joerogan for using his platform and personally helping elevate this issue to President Donald Trump in support of this mission. The work continues. Support our mission at AmericansforIbogaine.org

Big moment for ibogaine. Today’s Executive Order signals something we’ve been working toward for a long time—real federal attention on solutions that can actually change outcomes. Americans for Ibogaine CEO Bryan Hubbard and Board Member Marcus Luttrell were in the room for the signing, alongside podcaster Joe Rogan. Read Americans for Ibogaine's full statement on our website

👮‍♂️ This week on the @Team_NeverQuit Podcast, @marcusluttrell and @melanieluttrell sit down with Texas Sheriff @sheriffwaybourn - a leader whose decades of service have been defined by one mission: protecting those who cannot protect themselves. 💪 From pioneering the Texas “No Refusal” DWI program to launching specialized human trafficking initiatives, Sheriff Waybourn shares how leadership, courage, and compassion intersect in the fight to defend the most vulnerable. In one of the most emotional moments of the episode, he also opens up about the story of his foster daughter Alyssa, shining a light on a rarely discussed form of child abuse and the life-changing power of advocacy and care. This is a powerful conversation about service, responsibility, and standing up for the voiceless. 🎧 Listen now wherever you get your podcasts. LINK IN BIO : /podcast/bill-waybourn/
