It’s crazy to think one decision (𝘢𝘬𝘢 𝘣𝘶𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘪𝘬𝘦) completely changed the direction of my life.
What started as curiosity became confidence.
What started as “𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨” became purpose.
What started as casual bike rides became community, passion and a version of myself I’m genuinely proud of.
This sport has taught me how powerful women are when we stop shrinking ourselves and start showing up fully. It’s taught me to trust my body, push past limits I definitely made up in my own head and keep going even when things get uncomfortable.
There were so many moments I doubted myself along the way. But every ride, every race, every hard conversation with myself when quitting would’ve been easier became part of something far bigger than fitness; it became part of building a life I once only dreamed about, finding a sense of belonging and learning what it feels like to truly be seen.
Crazy how one “𝘐’𝘭𝘭 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴” decision can change everything 🫶🏻

10. How I moved my body this week; in numbers and memories.
I almost trained for a marathon I didn’t actually want to run.
I paused and asked myself why I signed up in the first place. And the honest answer? Influence over intention.
In endurance sport, it’s easy for “next goals” to be shaped by what we see online instead of what actually fits our life, energy and season.
What I’ve learned is that being part of the @bmovanmarathon weekend in a way that felt true to me deepened my love for running and the community around it without needing to chase a distance that wasn’t mine.
Goals are beautiful.
What matters is that they’re yours ♡ #womeninsports #bmovancouvermarathon #marathonphotos

Confidence isn’t reserved for the naturally fearless. It’s built through repetition, discomfort, effort, missteps and showing up anyway.
Crit racing teaches this quickly but the lesson applies everywhere. Start before you feel ready ✨
