From L to R (see what I did there?):
Audeze LCD-X - From an audio perspective, by far the best of the bunch. High end is a touch hyped, but not harsh. Stereo field is realistic and not as separated as most headphones. Big downside is that they’re heavy af & uncomfortable to wear. Definitely a reference headphone.
Sennheiser HD 600 - Warm. Low-mids are a little emphasized & highs are tamed. These will let you know if you have a cloudy mix or not. Extremely comfortable to wear. Recommended for listening to an entire album.
Sennheiser HD 280 Pro - Only pair of closed back phones in the bunch. I use them for recording/tracking, & during mastering to check to see what a consumer pair of phones sound like. Definitely the strongest 1-3kHz of the bunch. Low end is surprisingly punchy. #mastering #masteringengineer #masteringstudio #headphones #audeze #sennheiser #monitoring
