Here’s a series of pics representing our CAPI showcase session this past Friday at Historic RCA Studio A. We had the best time that we ever could have imagined. We tracked an amazing band playing through 24 of our FaQ32 preamps that were mult’ed to 24 of our FAQ3B EQs. So we got preamp out and EQ’ed signals straight to Pro Tools. Then, like a Formula One pit crew me and the boys pulled the FAQ32s and popped in 24 Heider H2‘s. The band played as identically as they could, and we captured the preamp out and EQ out signals again. We will eventually have a mini documentary video representing this day as well as the complete session files for download. In the meantime, enjoy these pics!

What is A-list session bass player @brianonbass16 using for DI these days? A CAPI Big Red!! He first used one last month at our showcase session with @officialarielle Brian instantly fell in love with Big Red. He’s been thru every DI imaginable. Vintage, new, remakes, on and on. The Demeter DI has been his go-to for a recent while. When I texted him about posting this pic, I asked him if Big Red has taken over the top spot. His reply was: ”That very well could be the case. I’m really digging it. I think Big Red has a broader range!” ❤️❤️❤️
