I’ll sing until I lose my voice
but this life is more than I could ever want
Hey I wouldn’t change a thing if I could
Hey I couldn’t live the life that I should
I meet someone new every night
I wouldn’t change a thing if I could
I’m asked where I am
Isn’t that the plan
To be somewhere new
Venue to venue
And I paint the picture
Of a star studded life
And maybe it’s risky
But I’m gonna try

________
When you ask me if I need anything,
I have it here, right here with me.
But when I tell you
That I have nothing more precious
Than the time I have left.
Then it seems to me
That the moment isn't enough for you.
You want to plan, but that's something I can't do.
You say if this fails,
it was all for nothing. 🤷🏽♀️
And you think I'll carry on,
just as usual.
But right now it's so beautiful
and for me it will have been beautiful.

Stinger Season in far north Queensland marks the period when jellyfish populations surge, drawn by the warm, tropical waters of the area. While Australia is often joked about for its myriad of dangerous wildlife, jellyfish stings, although unpleasant and potentially deadly in rare cases, have been relatively infrequent thanks to decades of coexistence and the implementation of protective measures.
These measures include the use of stinger nets and the wearing of protective stinger suits, designed to minimize human-jellyfish encounters. It’s crucial to acknowledge our place within this aquatic ecosystem, respecting and coexisting with the marine life that calls the Great Barrier Reef home. As we navigate the waters of the Great Barrier Reef during Stinger Season, understanding the various jellyfish species and adopting protective measures becomes essential for a safe and enjoyable visit to this unparalleled natural wonder.
Those photos were taken on a day after a cyclone so you can see all the sediment in the water, that was washed into the sea with the winds and floods. Perfect conditions for the Jellys to come out. 🫢 Never seen so many different kind of Jellyfish in one spot.

2025 Recap - better late than never! 🪸
Thank you for following along on my journeys, it really means the world to me to share my encounters to inspire others to love, learn about and protect our oceans and the life within! 💙🌊
I started working again in September - isn't it stunning what we can see in such a short amount of time? This season hasn't blessed me with a Manta sighting (still hoping for it) but I've seen cuttlefish mating, diamond squid eggs and other beautiful, super interesting and rare things I've never seen before or didn't even know existed!
Let's find out what 2026 has for us!

APRIL 2025 // Arriving to spring in Germany 🤭
Had to watch Finding Nemo on the flight back, I missed the reef so much already. And then they had Bastille's music on the media player as well! This album means so much to me so it made it even better coming home to my brother who showed me the band and went to so many concerts of them with me over the years ❤️
Seeing friends and family again after such a long time fills your heart differently. You just come back for them. Too many emotions that can't be explained. 🥰
Nothing really changed at home, but it's still interesting how you get back and notice all the tiny developments and adjustments that happen during a year that people who still lived there don't notice. You pay more attention to all the small things you appreciate about your country again. Which is kind of a nice feeling, since you're still taught not to be proud of your country as a German because of our history and our culture... But it's not all bad. Of course there are enough things to work on but every country has that. And just enjoying this while being there for a couple of months was pretty awesome. 🌸

15-04-2025 // Last day(s) in Australia - spent the last few days watching footy & my first netball game, chilling with Slinky, then went back to Melbourne for another night after saying goodbye to my friends and luckily was able to meet up with some other friends to say goodbye to them as well 🥰 Went for coffee with them and then went to the airport - I remember, I felt so empty. Like, I didn't even know what to feel.
As happy as I was to go back to Germany to see everyone back there, as weird it was to leave this country behind that means so much to me and has become my home. 🫶🏽 I always say, as soon as you start to travel, you will never not miss something/someone. 🥲 But I knew I would come back, which thankfully made it a lot easier 🌞

04/25 // ALBURY PHOTODUMP
Spending some days at the cutest cafe ever, hung out in the coziest home with slinky 🐕, went to Bright (saw all the fall colors 🍁 🍂) and found the best Christmas shop ever, did a little walk to a creek ... Just some slow days I really needed after this road trip 🫶🏽
