Music always inspired me... This quote means "Afraid of stagnation. I'm afraid of standing still." And the way Jeremias put it into this song is so sentimental and heartbreaking that I just felt it so deep in my bones watching the sunset above the clouds and mountains... (Which is ironic sitting in a moving plane.) While I was flying across Georgia on my flight from Munich to Cairns I just couldn't help but feel torn apart by the thought of having to make a decision between my German and my Australian Life. My whole identity is the German culture, and I realize it more, the more I am gone from home. Especially the music, traditions, the 4 seasons, my friends and family. But my new way of living in Australia is super exciting and feels like home too - I get to dive everyday, spend time underwater with incredible wildlife hardly anyone ever has the privilege to see on a daily basis and I want people to care about the ocean. But can I share this love with others through my photos so they care more? Or can I do this better in another way? And contribute in another way? I just feel like, if I touch anything or make a decision... everything could fall apart.
