And with that, the Class of 2026 has officially completed their journey at Heinz College! We cannot wait to see them go out into the world and create meaningful, impactful change. From local government to museums, tech companies to public health, they have spent their time at Heinz College learning, growing, and preparing to take on the challenges that lie ahead.
To our graduating Class of 2026: You will always have a home at Heinz College. Whether it is 10 months or 10 years, we cannot wait for our paths to cross again!

This past Friday marked the end of the school year, which means the Heinz College Graduation Ceremony is just a few days away! Our students will walk across the stage this Saturday, celebrating the culmination of all their hard work and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with them❤️🎓✨
The NFL Draft took over Pittsburgh last week, drawing nearly a million visitors in our city over the three-day event!
Several CMU Heinz College students from our Master of Entertainment Industry Management program were on the ground throughout the event, from area managers to brand ambassadors, helping bring the Draft to life.
We love seeing our students step onto the national stage, especially when it’s happening right here in Pittsburgh!
A group of Heinz and @teppercmu students recently traveled to PNC Park for an event named in honor of the Pirates’ first Black Major League player, Curtis Roberts. They had the opportunity to network with Pittsburgh Pirates hiring managers, sit in on a panel discussion with the team’s staff, and attend a game!
Elisa is one of our amazing Entertainment Industry Management students who somehow fits an entire production company’s worth of work into a single day. From experience design class at ETC to staff meetings with AMT Lab to painting carnival booths, her days at Heinz are anything but ordinary. And that festival she’s been playtesting VR headsets? Careers in the entertainment industry rarely follow a straight line. They evolve, shift, and open doors in unexpected ways, offering incredible opportunities along the way.
For Brittany, a MEIM alumna, that journey started at Heinz. During her time here, she worked across production companies and studios, gaining experience in development and touching nearly every corner of the industry. After graduation, she launched her career at a production company, contributing to projects spanning Broadway, television, film, and even audiobooks.
Today, she’s working as a producer and owner of Boulevard Productions.
At Heinz, we focus on building real, practical skills that translate directly into the workplace. Seeing alumni like Brittany carve out dynamic, self-driven careers is a powerful reminder of what’s possible!
With admission letters going out to our Fall 2026 cohort, we are excited to begin connecting with prospective students across the country and around the globe. From virtual hangouts to traveling to meet students in person, the next few months will be a whirlwind, culminating in Admitted Student Open House, a weekend dedicated to welcoming our admitted students to Pittsburgh to experience our city, our campus, and our college firsthand!
