((Link in bio)) Two years ago I puked on a page and was born a story of self-sabotage. I began a tense production on my first long-form narrative film as an effort to question habits and consciously break from them. I wanted to become someone who was productive, committed and accountable enough to see a goal through to the end, instead of pissing away ambition with bitter and insecure excuses. It was an incredulous undertaking of a lifelong dream that required countless confrontations with dedication and sacrifice. I learned so much about responsibility, community and my own values toward the experiences of making art and living. It brought me so close to so many captivating people and ideas, and I’ve never held anything so far beyond self. I have grown and changed irrevocably. Thank you to everyone who joined me and supported me or contributed in any way to this sentiment. I will absolutely never forget this endeavor, and am indebted with gratitude. “DED ROACH” is a 126 minute journey through ego hell. Inspired by actual disaster + loosely based on the works of Dante Alighieri. It is a bleeding brain’s crass display in the street.
