I wanted to wait about a month until my emotions settled to post something about my beloved cat, Sasha.
I did not grow up around pets. It wasn’t until I was eleven that my parents both agreed that it was time for me to get one. When I first went to pick her up with my mom from the shelter, we were originally gonna get a tiger-stripe cat. We saw this black cat in a cage and thought “Okay, why not? Let’s check it out.” As soon as we opened the cage, Sasha jumped on me and cuddled up to me as if she had known me for a life time. She chose me, and I chose her. It was one of the best decisions I’ve (hopefully both of us LOL) ever made.
For those of you who met her, she was the sweetest, most beautiful cat of all time. In her thirteen years of life she never hissed once and loved every single person that walked through my front door. From cuddling with my dad, to running around the house like a maniac, Sasha was always there to make someone smile.
I never thought losing a pet would be this hard, but it is. They become like family, and she was my baby. I’ll always miss you Sasha. Thank you for choosing me and I hope to see you again. ❤️
Love,
Freddy
