We’re proud to share that @sydney_uni ’s Research for Good campaign has been shortlisted for a @mumbrella_aus Award. This work is a reminder of the real-world impact research can have. From progress toward an oral insulin tablet, to advancing emissions reduction through direct air capture, to co-creating education programs that help high school students navigate alcohol, drugs and mental health—these are the world-leading stories that matter. It was a privilege to partner with USYD, helping shape the strategic framework that brings these stories to life at scale, as well as leading the creative production of the content. #contentmarketing #awards #mumbrellaawards #research

We’re excited to share that @visual.domain is joining forces with @mediumrarecontent and @storyation 🎉 The creative and video production agency will now sit under the leadership of our MD, Nick Smith, creating a video content powerhouse that gives clients faster, more efficient creative video at scale. Nick will lead the three agencies supported by two key promotions: Chantelle Love as General Manager of Creative Production across the integrated agency group, and Sarah Worthington as Group Commercial Development Manager at Visual Domain. Nick says: “We know from our Future of Brand Content research that 83% of marketers credit video with directly increasing sales. By combining Visual Domain’s creative production firepower with Medium Rare and Storyation’s content strategy and audience intelligence, every video we create is built to perform across the entire customer journey.” #contentmarketing #videoproductioncompany #agency

The new issue of Acuity Magazine is out today, featuring @nike ’s Alex Wills CA. The GM of Nike Energy (Asia, Pacific and Latin America) shares his journey from Adelaide to Nike’s iconic Portland campus with Acuity, reflecting on the power of backing yourself, and recognising how the CA Program helped shape his global career. Also inside the issue: ◾ The rising risk of deepfakes in cyberattacks ◾ How CAs are contributing to space exploration ◾ Progress (and challenges) in reducing agri-emissions ◾ What leaders can do about communication fatigue As always, the quarterly magazine is packed with sharp thinking, standout interviews and diverse perspectives, brought to life across print, digital, audio and social. Medium Rare has been producing Acuity in partnership with @charteredaccountantsanz since 2018 and we’re proud that it continues to be a trusted touchpoint for business leaders and decision makers. We’re proud to have led Destination Canada’s winter campaign with @davidjonesstore , bringing it to life in-store. Designed to inspire Australians to Do Winter Differently, the campaign places Canada directly into the retail journey – from immersive in-store mirror decals and contextual creative by department, to a standout 3D window installation by Dashing at the Elizabeth Street flagship. It’s a connected approach across content and first-party data all driving toward consideration and booking resulting in a +16% increase in intent to visit Canada among David Jones shoppers year-on-year. Thanks to @explorecanada , David Jones Amplify and @dashinggroup . #retailmedia #destinationcanada #travelmarketing #contentagency #contentmarketing Source: Roy Morgan December 2025

NEW WORK: A delicious development from our Kiwi team! Medium Rare has had the pleasure of working with New Zealand’s largest grocery operator Foodstuffs and its retail division Precision Media on the launch of a brand new magazine for @newworldnz supermarkets. The 68-page recipe magazine was distributed nationwide this week, and is available for free when customers scan their New World Clubcard. The magazine supports Precision Media’s ‘sofa to store’ strategy by connecting with shoppers at home, giving supermarket brands another meaningful way to reach customers during key planning moments. Medium Rare developed a magazine bursting with inspiration for shoppers with everyday food solutions, weeknight meals, Easter entertaining ideas, in-season produce, cooking tips and new food product information. This week, we headed to Doonside to do some bush regeneration at Nurragingy Reserve with @greatersydneylandcare . Armed with gloves, saws and enthusiasm, our Medium Rare volunteers spent the day tackling invasive privet, learning about bush regeneration and helping restore space for native plants to thrive (read: weeding, weeding and more weeding!). By the end of the day the crew had filled an entire truck with privet. A big thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and got involved: Teagan, Kirsten, Tony, Lisa, Bec, Pippa, Sharon, Jen, Hana, Mike, Anthony, Catherine and Ky. It was lots of fun, very rewarding and a great reminder of the impact community action can have. #volunteering 🌱

NEW WORK for @colessupermarkets 💃🏼 To celebrate Coles’ long-standing partnership with @sydneymardigras , we created a social-first series starring @jeremy.franco taking over the Coles checkout. Serving on all fronts, Jeremy chatted queer icons, Mardi Gras parade choreography, feeling seen and supported by your employer and (obvs) Indulgent Choc Chip Cookies with Coles team members and ambassadors @courtneyroulston and @misty_delray . With over 75,000 organic views and almost 1,000 engagements — including a high number of shares — it’s clear the content resonated with team members, customers and audiences. We love helping clients show that they “walk the walk”. Watch the full reels @colessupermarkets . #Pride #SydneyMardiGras

We were lucky to be joined by Pippa Leary, Managing Director & Publisher of the Free News & Lifestyle division at News Corp Australia for an International Women’s Day breakfast. Pippa was interviewed by Company Director’s Maja Garaca Djurdjevic about leadership, life and learnings, sharing candid insights about her career in media — from starting full-time work at 31 with “no plan” to leading one of the country’s biggest publishing portfolios. Some of Pippa’s points that stuck with us: ▪️ Don’t panic about the timeline. Never feel like you should be further along in your career. Feeling behind is often just negative self-talk. Recognise it and shut it down. ▪️ Adaptability is a strength. Changing how you communicate in different forums to get better outcomes isn’t defeat. It’s leadership. ▪️ Wait a beat before reacting. Sometimes the most powerful response is, “I’ll come back to you on that.” ▪️ Be interested, not interesting. Curiosity unlocks better conversations and better leadership. ▪️ Find your “Good Women Group”. Peers who become friends. Share experiences and the challenges. You’ll feel less alone. She also spoke about the importance of protecting and mentoring the next generation of women, something Medium Rare champions as a Top 50 workplace for women. Her advice? Operate an open door policy for juniors to be able to talk freely. Casual mentorship over organised mentorship. A huge thank you to Pippa for her openness, wisdom and generosity. #InternationalWomensDay #WomenInLeadership #Mentorship

Earlier this week, we brought ‘The Remarkable Show’ to life for @flybuys , rewarding top points collectors with an intimate IRL member experience. From concept to full-scale production, Medium Rare curated the live experience, turning Sydney’s @bellshakespeare blue for one unforgettable night. Hosted by @alrighthey , with @twobrokechicks , @thetomflyer and past Flybuys Top 50 members, the interactive show blended utility and entertainment, giving members points-maximising inspiration, stories to share, and remarkable raffle prizes from the Flybuys Rewards Store. Before and after the show, members connected over partner activations from @colessupermarkets , @liquorlandau , @velocityfrequentflyer and @hcfaustralia , enjoying free food and cocktails, bonus frequent flyer points and even more prizes. We also engaged influencers who know and love Flybuys to attend and capture content, ensuring the points hacks were seen by all members. We’re incredibly proud of our team’s creativity, collaboration and can-do attitude in bringing this experiential event and its supporting pre, post and live event content to life. It was truly remarkable to witness the genuine joy and passion that Flybuys members have for the program and their fellow points collectors. It’s a timely reminder that community is earned through consistent value, rewards and customer service, but fostered through money-can’t-buy experiences and meaningful human connection 🎟️💙💫 #BrandContent #ExperientialMarketing #Community #MakeRegularRemarkable

We are one of Australia’s Best Workplaces™ for Women. With women making up more than 70 percent of our agency, this recognition from @gptw_au is particularly meaningful. We are all too aware that women continue to face challenges in the workforce, including underrepresentation in leadership, gender pay gaps and barriers to career progression. We have always been proud to buck the trend. We have a majority-female senior leadership team and women leading key functions of our business across content, social, strategy, creative production, growth, operations and partnerships. We have no doubt this representation has helped us be recognised as one of the top 50 companies in Australia that have moved beyond traditional approaches to create a transformative workplace culture for women to thrive at every level. But we know it takes more than representation. It’s our flexible policies and practices that prioritise psychological safety and progression that also play a part. It’s the environment and culture we foster every day and the big leadership decisions down to the small shows of support from everyone across the business that have helped us secure this data-driven accreditation—and make us proud to work at Medium Rare.

For the past nine years, Medium Rare has worked with the @aicdirectors to establish, evolve and expand a connected brand world that spans print, digital, audio, social and events. We recently helped the organisation reimagine Company Director magazine to provide an even richer, more dynamic reading experience for board directors, executives and governance leaders. Informed by member feedback, the magazine is now bigger to create space for deeper analysis and compelling articles that reflect the challenges and opportunities facing today’s director community. The magazine also has a more visual modern look, thanks to Medium Rare’s award-winning design team, with a special animated cover for the February-March issue. But, that’s not all. The volume of digital content — including articles, newsletters, tools and podcasts — has doubled to ensure directors are equipped with even more quality content on the platforms they visit daily. Something Medium Rare is passionate about facilitating. Takeaway: Audiences don’t stand still, so content shouldn’t. Let us know what you think of the new look. And reach out if your brand or organisation needs support with the next evolution of content. Read the new-look Company Director magazine at the 🔗 in bio. #BrandContent #ContentMarketing #Governance
