This week on the Stompcast I’m joined by Eve Lewis, aka @meditatewitheve , one of the most recognisable voices in the mindfulness space. As the former Director of Meditation at Headspace, she’s the voice of hundreds of guided courses, sleep exercises, and the voice of the Headspace podcast.
Eve shares how she went from burning out in advertising to joining Headspace as a fledging start-up, reminding us it’s never too late to change your life.
Plus, she explains what mindfulness actually is and how it can help with feelings of doom and uncertainty.
What has meditation changed for you? 💚
Eve Lewis (@meditatewitheve ) shares why she’s partnering with Empathy as our Mindfulness Expert, and how her own experiences with loss have shaped the way she shows up for others. Grief is personal, layered, and never linear, and her perspective helps us deepen the support we provide to every person we serve, further expanding the Empathy Support System with experts who offer strength, clarity, and care when it matters most.
Eve’s meditations, audio guides, and mindful practices will be woven throughout Empathy Loss Support.

Today, we’re expanding the Empathy Support System with new resources grounded in compassion, mindfulness, and the simple act of being present with what’s hard. We’re honored to welcome Eve Lewis, a renowned meditation teacher and mental-health coach, as Empathy’s Mindfulness Expert.
With more than a decade of experience, and as the former Director of Meditation at @headspace , you might recognize Eve’s voice from Radio Headspace, @netflix ’s Guide to Sleep, or the Headspace | @waze mindful navigation experience. She’ll help shape our growing library of meditations, audio guides, and tools for navigating loss.
Eve’s practices will appear across Empathy Loss Support, offering steady guidance when it’s needed most.

Life has felt quite heavy recently; there has been grief and loss, the kind that reminds you how fragile all of this is. Huge life transitions, change, endings and the uncertainty of new beginnings. The ground beneath has felt shaky, with a heart heavy and a restless mind.
The practice teaches us that impermanence is at the heart of everything; nothing stays the same forever, and it is also a gentle reminder that hard times will pass. I know they will. For now, though, it’s a time to walk through it. To process, to heal, to be with what is, with deep compassion.
Sending love and kindness to you all 💙
