Alex Ekubo was more than a supporter of the cancer community, he was a light.
A source of joy, positivity, wisdom, and kindness who showed up wholeheartedly for people fighting battles many never see. Through every Walk Away Cancer event, every smile, every word of encouragement, he reminded patients and families that hope still exists even in difficult moments.
His presence brought warmth. His generosity brought relief. His spirit brought strength.
We remain grateful for the love and compassion he shared with the cancer community. His impact will never be forgotten.

We honor the life and legacy of Alexx Ekubo, a man whose compassion, generosity, and unwavering support left a lasting impact on everyone privileged to know him.
For years, Alexx stood with us at WalkAway Cancer, not for recognition, but because he truly believed in the fight against cancer and in the people behind the cause. He showed up with sincerity, used his voice to raise awareness, and at times personally supported patients by paying for treatments and offering help to those in need.
Cancer has taken far too much from so many families, and we deeply mourn the loss of someone who gave so much hope to others. His presence went beyond public appearances, he was genuinely committed to touching lives and standing for something greater than himself.
At Medicaid Cancer Foundation, we remain grateful for the years he walked beside us in this movement. His impact will continue to live on in every life touched and every story inspired.
Thank you, Alexx. You will never be forgotten. May your soul rest in perfect peace. 🕊️

Across the world, millions of women continue to face the reality of breast, ovarian, and cervical cancer, with far too many lives lost due to late diagnosis and limited access to proper care.
Recent global research across 39 countries revealed that fewer than 20% of ovarian cancer cases are detected early, highlighting the urgent need for greater awareness, routine screenings, and equitable healthcare access, especially in low- and middle-income communities.
Behind every statistic is a mother, daughter, sister, friend, and a family affected.
we stand for awareness, early detection, and stronger support for women everywhere. Listen to your body. Speak up about unusual symptoms. Prioritize regular checkups.
Early detection saves lives.
