Take a slow breath. Listen to the sounds around you.
For #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek this week, the theme is Action. And action does not always have to be big. It can be taking a break, checking in with a friend, noticing how you feel, or reaching out for support.
Mental health is part of everyday life, and support should be accessible, inclusive, and stigma-free.
For yourself. For someone else. For all of us.
At #LSHTM, our Student Support Services are here to provide mental health and wellbeing support for our students.

๐ฉธToo many women continue to die of preventable causes during childbirth - and anaemia may be the hidden factor behind them.
Today, the WOMAN-2 Trial team launches a new report: The missing evidence: anaemia, postpartum bleeding and maternal death.
Over 70,000 women die every year from postpartum haemorrhage (PPH), generally reported as the leading cause of maternal deaths worldwide.
โจ New evidence presented in the #MISSINGEvidenceReport, coordinated by @lshtm , points to anaemia as a critical but overlooked contributor to PPH.
The report brings together new data and powerful lived experiences from women, calling for urgent global action to reduce the prevalence and severity of anaemia in women and adolescent girls.
