Last night in San Francisco felt like an evening grounded in purpose.
We’re incredibly honored to have brought this event to life alongside the ABFE conference in partnership with & Hosted by F.L.Y. Society. A room full of Black leaders, grantmakers, funders, entrepreneurs, and community organizers all focused on advancing philanthropy within Black communities… you can feel that energy.

After hearing RiseCons vision of convening grassroot and digital organizers together…. I knew I needed to produce a content lounge separate from the main stage area to insure creators had the opportunity to collect as much content as possible. At first only a few saw the vision, but it was a hit! It was literally one of the highlights of the convention. It has truly been satisfying to see all the content STILL dropping!
The “Breaking News” desk was 1/5 sets, but it was definitely my favorite! Attendees we able to share current issues, upcoming events, do interviews, and more!

My first four-day event production is officially in the books!
At RiseCon, I stepped in as Executive Producer & Director of Media Production — overseeing everything from AV and stage build to content, media, and live show production.
I built a full content room, hired and managed production + AV teams, brought in influencers, and executive produced three live podcast tapings. OUR TEAM WAS SOOO IN SYNC!! But what made it powerful wasn’t just the production — it was the people.
We watched grassroots organizers, nonprofit leaders, and digital creators connect, build, and realize we’re stronger together. When we cross-collaborate, we move culture. We make democracy work for us.
