We’re kicking off festi vibes season next week with Desertfest then on to a whole lot of other stuff we can’t believe. FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE DEV @thedevcamden - DF 2026 MEATDRIPPER (UK) @meatdripper_ are a four-piece psych-sludge band, formed in Birmingham in 2024. Their sound fuses the weight of doom and sludge with the raw energy of punk and psych rock, while reaching into the cosmic edges of space, stoner, and desert rock. HASHTRONAUT (US) Four-piece stoner doom innovators @wearehashtronauts launched into orbit from their Denver-based Mission Control in the summer of 2020, fuelled by inspiration from a hazy string of jam sessions during the darkest days of the pandemic. Their galactic tones have spread to the farthest corners of the universe, earning them a diverse and growing fanbase both on and off this planet in short time. SUPERNAUGHTY (IT) @supernaughtyband are a stoner metal powerhouse from Livorno, Italy, blending fuzzy riffs, grunge grit and heavy grooves into a raw, explosive sound. IRONRAT (UK) Founded in 2008 from the industrial heartlands of Bradford comes @ironrattheband , a stoner doom leviathan that has carved out a distinctive sound: a potent blend of crushing sludge, doom-laden riffs, but also melodic grunge-infused soul. SUPERSEED (UK) Hard rockers @superseedrock crashed into existence in Bristol, England in early 2017. A five-man juggernaut fuelled by the triple-engine roar of singer-guitarists David Edgar, Ben Taylor and Dan Armson. Backed by the thunderous pulse of Matt Colley on drums and Keith Bowers’ bass laying down a filthy groove. This hard-rocking wrecking crew delivers a sonic gut-punch that demands attention. 2020 - lock down - Han digging up rat piss at bournbrook diy We are playing this gig because we love community, and when my mental health was rock bottom, the skate community saved me. These are some memories from @birminghamskatespaces first project @bournbrookdiy , which became and still is the first only DIY skatepark to be officially opened to the public in the UK. Community projects rely on donations. We’re playing this show for free and what ever money is donated on the door, we are giving straight back to Birmingham Skate Spaces so they can continue their mission to create spaces built by and for the skate community in Birmingham - this now takes on an extended form at @the_drop_inn_digbeth a new venue which currently houses Birmingham Skate Spaces amazing mini ramp. Massive thank you to Berni for asking us to be involved, for @the_big_hell for jumping on this show and our friend @rob.the.bastard for the poster artwork. We couldn’t do this without you.
