IKIGAI Nights GTP Edition 🎥
I got the chance to attend the launch of the seventh issue of @sight.magazine in a special venue with interesting cars and people.
I knew that I wanted to capture the essence of the event in some form and decided it would be a great idea to pull up with the most unreliable piece of equipment in my possession.
A 48 year old untested Canon 310xl Super 8 Camera loaded up with discontinued and over 20 years expired Kodak Vision2 200T I bought on eBay from a girl who found 3 Rolls in the darkest corner of her Grandpa’s basement. What could go wrong 🗿.
Halfway through the roll one lens group decided to move through the lens, making close focusing impossible (hence some blurry images at the end), but I still decided to capture everything I could with the last meters of film left and send it out shortly after to get the footage developed and scanned.
After looking through the whole footage I was amazed that I got a viewable picture out of a film that was produced before I was even born 🙋🏼♂️. Good job @kodak_shootfilm 👏 Thanks for the amazing event and the opportunity to see a motorsport legend up close @sight.magazine@porsche_brandstore

Last year @livefastdieyoung approached us for the part two of their iconic collection. Ride or Die 2 took us into the depths of Atlanta’s takeover culture, where we quickly realized that the way we have to approach this project has to follow different rules. From shutting down a 8 lane Highway, hundreds of people storming the set, to a large scale police operation including a helicopter - this production was different.
