somewhere on a quiet road in Ninh Bình.
limestone mountains rising out of the rice fields,
distant motorbikes passing by, the sound of the wheels on the road.
cycling here feels different.
less predictable, a little chaotic at times,
but somehow more alive.
very different from the rides I used to do back in Germany. the flow of the road is different, the pace too -
you start noticing the small things along the way. farmers working the fields, kids waving as you pass.
moments like these make you realize
how much a place can change the feeling
of something as simple as riding a bike.
