Again for the people in the back: RURAL WORKING CLASS VOTERS HAVE THE POWER TO DECIDE THIS ELECTION.
North Carolina is one of the top two swing states in the country. It also has more rural voters than any other swing state. Every single vote is going to count in this election. That means we need YOU and your people to make sure they get out and vote by 7:30 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
You can make a plan to vote & find all of our endorsed candidates here: dhnc.info/endorsements

Wilson has around 57,000 registered voters. The typical margin of victory for this county is around 1200–2000 votes. Very knockable.
If our endorsed candidate Dante Pittman wins Wilson County, he could be the one to break the supermajority in the NC General Assembly. This means that legislators have to work together — which means more people will be represented in the laws and budgets that get passed. As a candidate who was researched, interviewed, and endorsed by Down Home NC members, we believe that Dante Pittman will lift up the priorities of the rural working class communities of all races such as healthcare for all; women's right to choose; fully funded public education; safe and affordable housing; and an economy that allows everyone to thrive.
Now that's worth fighting for.

Huge thanks to @mypbsnc for this dream opportunity. From the start of this project we had the primary goal of sending Mother Perry's gospel across the public airwaves for anyone to receive it (check your local listings for air times after April 10th or watch anytime on the @pbs app).
And if you are interested in hosting a local screening of Stay Prayed Up at your church or other faith-based community group, please reach out with a direct message. We have a great conversation game and study guide ready to enhance these important community screenings!
