On the 6th of November, MCSA had the opportunity of being an accredited press at the premiere of @3colddishes which was directed by @iamasurf and produced by @burnaboygram and @officialosas
The premiere as a whole was a very beautiful experience, from meeting incredible talents and interacting with various experts at our fields, we enjoyed every bit of it.
The MCSA Press team consisted of @sheis_dudubanke the red carpet host, @_olamiposiii and @thedu_nnie our Videographers, @leinad_photographs our photographer and @veexokoye and @josephfaluyi who directed it all.
PS: Being a reporter isn’t as easy as it seems and isn’t for the weak but MCSA as a whole will most definitely want to do something like this again!!😂✨

FROM NEWSROOM TO ACADEMIA:UNILAG ELEVATES JOURNALISM SCHOLAR TAYO POPOOLA TO PROFESSOR
The University of Lagos has promoted veteran journalist and communications scholar, Dr. Tayo Popoola, to the rank of full Professor in the Department of Mass Communication.
The elevation marks a significant milestone in the career of the media professional-turned-academic, whose journey reflects a successful transition from newsroom leadership to the peak of academia.
Before joining UNILAG in 2002 as an Assistant Lecturer, Popoola built a distinguished career in Nigerian journalism, serving as Political Correspondent, News Editor, and Deputy Editor across several national media platforms.
Professor Popoola is also the author of several widely used textbooks, including Specialized Reporting: A Global Trend in Media Training, Mass Media Law in Nigeria: A Professional Perspective, Parrot Journalism: A Guide to Investigative Journalism, and Introduction to Political Communication in Nigeria.
