96 kilometres and eight days across the Kokoda Track.
Recently, four McNabbers and their sons joined Michael McNab and Mavan staff to take on one of the world’s most challenging and inspiring treks pushing through heat, humidity, steep climbs, altitude and long days together.
For many, the trek was about stepping outside their comfort zone, physically and mentally challenging themselves, learning more about the history of Kokoda and WWII, and sharing the experience alongside mates and family. One standout moment? Reaching the top of Brigade Hill after a gruelling two-hour climb.
While the conditions tested everyone, the support from the local porters and leaders - Killer and Ice - made all the difference.

Looking back at another great project for Fife Capital and Stockland.
Designed by TaylorEllis, the project features a PrixCar Services warehouse, logistics and storage facility, a Dutt Transport warehouse, and a Freight Assist logistics facility, together spanning an impressive 92,415sqm on a 144,322sqm site.
And a fun fact - this site now facilitates a large proportion of new car arrivals into Brisbane.

Did you hear the news? We’ve recently completed our first project for @chlgroup at Booval almost two months ahead of schedule!
Led by @chlgroup in partnership with the Queensland Government, the project provides 43 homes for women and families in need of safe, stable social housing.
Delivered in collaboration with @koandcoarchitecture , the apartments have been thoughtfully designed to meet a mix of silver and gold Social Housing Design Guidelines, complemented by communal spaces and gardens for residents to enjoy.
This milestone strengthens our growing contribution to the sector, with more than 1,000 social and affordable housing apartments delivered or underway across South East Queensland - reinforcing our position as one of Queensland’s most active builders in this space.

Recently, we celebrated our McNab legends at our memorable 20+ Years of Service Dinner hosted at Michael McNab’s home. We were especially proud to welcome Emma Rettke and Darryl Cundy to this esteemed club.
This year each member was presented a custom McNab baggy green cap. Much like the legendary baggy greens of cricket this cap represents a badge of honour to celebrate over 20 years of dedication and achievement. This tradition of recognising commitment will continue with every new member.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming our purchasers, consultants and project partners onsite at @elementsbuddsbeach to mark a significant milestone, the completion of the basement raft slab pour.
The team also hosted our cadets on site, giving them a firsthand look at the scale, precision, and teamwork involved in delivering a project of this magnitude. Their curiosity and enthusiasm reminded us why sharing knowledge and experience with our next generation of construction professionals is so important.

We’re excited to share our recently completed project in Morningside for FIFE Capital, delivered in partnership with Hale.
Cityport is a state of the art 19,530sqm cold storage facility and now one of the largest speculative cold storage developments in the tightly held Trade Coast precinct. This project will support Queensland’s cold-store logistics, and accommodates three tenancies, each with a 50/50 freezer and chiller split, integrated offices, advanced refrigeration technology, and 28 dock levellers to support high-volume operations.

We’re proud to announce the completion of our first project with @lifesavingqld at Mermaid Beach.
The new facility combines the State Operations and Communications Centre (SOCC), a workshop for Thundercat inflatable rescue boats, and offices and staff headquarters – all designed to boost efficiency and support lifesaving operations across Queensland.
We’re pleased to have delivered a facility that will support lifesaving operations across Queensland for years to come.
