Last weekend was truly one for the books! 💜✨ I had the honor of serving as the MC for the 70th birthday celebration of an iconic Nigerian woman, and what a celebration it was! @aojeyinka1 and her siblings pulled off an absolutely grand and classy event to celebrate their beloved mother. With over 300–400 guests in attendance, the room was filled with love, laughter, elegance, and that unmistakable Nigerian owambe energy. And of course, as the MC with the mostest, I brought the vibes, the energy, and the rhythm to keep the celebration alive from start to finish. From heartfelt tributes to lively dancing, we made sure every moment of the evening was memorable. The celebrant herself was absolutely stunning.... she changed outfits three times, each look more regal than the last. At 70, she carried herself with the grace, beauty, and confidence of a true queen. The night featured an incredible live band, a high-energy DJ, and guests who came dressed to impress in the finest traditional attire. You know how it is when Nigerians celebrate — the music, the dancing, the joy, the culture… it was a full owambe experience! Seeing friends, family, and loved ones gather from near and far to celebrate such an extraordinary woman was truly heartwarming. A life that has impacted so many deserves nothing less than a celebration this special.
