Almost 10 years ago, I randomly stumbled on Abimbola’s page while looking for a designer to make my clothes. I sent her a DM, and since 2017, she has been making most of my outfits. At this point, I don’t even pick styles anymore. I simply send my fabrics and trust her completely.
She isn’t perfect but one thing I deeply value is her loyalty, her drive, love, and the way she shows up for people she cares about.
When my sister passed away, Bimbo stood by me in ways I will never forget. She guided me through one of the hardest seasons of my life, made calls, sent food, stayed with us, made outfits for me and my family, checked on my mother and my niece constantly, and never asked for anything in return.
Over the years, she has become more than my designer. She became family.
Every time I’m in Lagos, she refuses to let me rent a car. She drives me around herself, feeds me endlessly, and makes the most delicious red sauce for white rice. My family has become her family, and I will forever be grateful for the love she shows us.
Abimbola, last year stretched you, but God saw you through, and I know your testimony is permanent. May God answer your silent prayers and continue to enlarge your coast.
My pastor always says, “If you know how to think, you will know how to thank.” Today, I am thankful for you,
@zeestitches_by_abimbola . Thank you for being my own. We love and appreciate you deeply.
Please say a prayer for her on my behalf. God bless you my love
