A huge thank you and CONGRATULATIONS to Sarah Lazarovic and Jode Roberts for opening @nationalportraitgalleryofcan I love the way it has been curated and hung. It’s about time our portraits got this kind of platform! ❤️❤️❤️
So honoured to have my painting “Olga” included in the opening show! How she looms over the crowd, always watching.
Go see the show at Gallery 1065 until Jan.18!
This photo popped up from 12 years ago and I find myself reflecting on the choices I made, one by one, to get me here as a full time artist and muralist. I hung my “Not So Still Life” series at the yoga studio where I was working and even sold a few which felt huge! I had just graduated my French undergrad at Laurier and decided to give art a true go by working part time jobs and painting in my spare time. I got a lucky break doing murals for Starbucks cafés and kept doing art trade shows with my personal works. Then I worked full time positions in construction, framing and firestop on high rise buildings in the summers, therein acquiring my working at heights and other safety certs (which really came in handy later on in the mural world). I kept taking bigger and bigger commercial mural jobs and then one year I applied to @muralroutes public art intensive program and got in. That opened the door to public murals for me and of course, each public piece you do acts as its own advertising. This has snowballed over the years into a full time mural career (10 years full time muralling)!
Now, as I start to really settle into domestic life with my new babe, I’m finding more and more local projects I can work on while still sleeping at home. AND, even more exciting than that, I’m making my way into public youth programs to mentor kids who want to get into the mural business. I’ve had my fun, and will continue to for a long time, but I also find myself wanting to share what I’ve learned over the years and promote art within my community. This will surely be an exciting chapter ahead and I look forward to continuing to share my journey with you who have stayed interested 😘🫶
All my love to you fellow art supporters!
The image is a photo of a colourful mural with the letters spelling C-O-U-R-T-I-C-E on an exterior wall. Local flora and fauna are painted including a duckling, cone flowers, a fox, a doe, trillium flowers, mourning doves and sumac berries.
Thank you to Courtice and fine folks of Durham Region for welcoming me to paint this mural. 🥰
“Good morning, Courtice.”
66” x 9”
The people of Courtice were asked what they would like to see in their first large public mural and then I worked with a committee of community members to narrow down the vision. A year later, I bring you this piece! 🪄 Thank you Courtice for being so very welcoming- for all the honks and thumbs up that got this new mom through some exhausting days. It was good to be back on a wall! 🙏❤️
Finishing up a 66’ long mural on HWY 2 and here’s a teaser. Thanks for having me Courtice!

Incredible mural in Whitby# painted by Canadian artist Meaghan Claire Kehoe @mck_studio with a very interesting story of Molly the firedog who inspired the concept for the artwork. #firedepartment #wallart #mural #dronephotography
🐾🎨 Molly’s Way - A new mural in Downtown Whitby 🎨🐾
Have you seen it yet? The vibrant artwork by @mck_studio honours the legacy of Molly, the beloved Fire Safety Education Dog who dedicated her life to teaching our community about fire safety, while paying tribute to the building’s history – the former location of Fire Hall Station No. 3. 🐾🔥
The stunning 60-foot-wide by 28-foot-tall building mural, located at 201 Brock Street South, was commissioned by @brookfieldresidentialon .

A big thank you to @stepspublicart and @bmocanada for having me paint for a new local branch earlier this year. A big thank you as well to @anushaysheikh for the photography and great chats. ❤️
In this mural I hoped to capture the spirit of the Windfield Farms neighbourhood as a University town, diverse in culture, developing rapidly, and progressively thinking. If you’re from my area, you might notice the Easter eggs of recognizable architecture from here.
