Recently put together the new theme music (intro & outro) with @djformat for “The Cool JDM Show” (popular show all about exporting cars from Japan, found on the YouTube channel @pacificcoastauto ). Here’s the debut!
Happy 16th BIRTHDAY to this distinguished gentleman!! Kai still out here doing long hikes in the Alps & gobbling up sausages at alarming rates! Only difference (much like myself) is the beard has become noticeably whiter…
When both the founder of your company and the CEO share the last name “Rappin”, it’s kind of a no-brainer to opt for a Custom Rap anthem to enhance team spirit and company culture. Which is exactly what @evergreenrealestategroup decided to do when they hired me (via @eventrapinc of course).
This one was on a bit of a tight deadline, as the completed song and accompanying video all needed to be done in a few short weeks, in time to be debuted at their annual summer celebration. Fortunately, the good people at Evergreen provided me with a lot of helpful information about what makes this dynamic company tick.
One part that really stood out to me was the company’s five core values, the foundation that really makes Evergreen unique. So I decided to use them as the focus for the second and middle verse of the track (the “meat and potatoes” of the song, if you will), which is what’s featured here in this post. And stay tuned for the full video, “One Evergreen”, dropping soon!

The final verse of Mother Earth feat. @mcabdominal comes from the perspective of Mother Earth herself.
With the tempo rising throughout the track, the idea was to end up almost uncomfortably fast, giving the feeling of spinning out of control. The bump in BPMs directly represents the increase in global temperatures, sea levels and frequency of natural disasters.
Once again, Abdominal absolutely nailed it on the lyrics, ending with the poignant message from which the track got its title.
"Don't fuck with me, Mother Earth".
The fourth verse of Mother Earth feat. @mcabdominal comes from the perspective of a polar bear, giving a voice to one of the most talked about species suffering from conditions brought about by the climate crisis.
