It was amazing to host over 60 dedicated and resilient members of the film industry, who braved the rainy weather to fill up bags of garbage and demo the City’s clean power kiosks. We made a tangible difference while having an incredible community building experience that lifted all of our spirits. The collaboration and comradery in the rain was very special, and we are so grateful we could bring the industry together to give back to our planet.

We are thrilled to be sponsoring the BC Film and Television Industry’s Reel Thanks Challenge (RTC) which is in its 11th year of fundraising in support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
The RTC is structured like a contest where different film and television productions around British Columbia compete to see which team can raise the most money in two weeks. The donations these teams raise are greatly magnified through sponsor prizes like ours that support this great cause.
The need for food support is increasing at an alarming pace. In 2021, the GVFB registered an average of 400 new clients monthly. In 2023, they registered an unprecedented 10,000 new clients, a staggering 52% increase from 2021. The GVFB currently supports more than 15,000 monthly adults, seniors, children, and youth clients and an additional 150+ community agencies.
