I am honored to have received generous support this year from Chamber Music America and the Queens Art Fund, without which, producing my next body of work, “Stalling Tumble” for the J. Pavone String Ensemble, would not be possible. Excited to be joined by my long-term collaborator Charlotte Munn-Wood (violin) @tt_nn_oo and dear old friend Mazz Swift (violin) @mazzmuse in realizing this next album cycle. We will be performing two free live concerts this Fall ∞∞∞ October 4 @ FLUX IV in Hunters Point LIC & November 15 @ Tenri Cultural Institute in Manhattan on a bill with TAK Ensemble @takensemble as well as hosting multiple community-building workshops in my Queens neighborhood ∞∞∞ shortly after, we’ll be going into the studio to record “Stalling Tumble” w/ @marcurselli for a 2027 release on @outofyourheadrecords which will coincide with the group’s 10-year anniversary! ∞∞∞ photos: @josiah_cuneo ∞∞∞ Jessica Pavone String Ensemble is a recipient of a 2026 Chamber Music America Artistic Projects grant. The Artistic Projects program is administered by Chamber Music America and made possible with funding from the Howard Gilman Foundation. @chambermusicamerica @howardgilmanfoundation “Stalling Tumble” is made possible (in part) with public funds from the Queens Arts Fund, a re-grant program supported by New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by New York Foundation for the Arts @nyfacurrent @nyculture
