昨年、戦後80周年記念にあわせてシーモアセンターで上演された、一日限りの能と聖歌のコラボレーション舞台『長崎の聖母』（原爆からの再生と祈りの物語）にて、MCと字幕オペレーターを務めました。
亡き父の友人でもあり、私の尊敬する師である清水寛治さんによる、平和への祈りを込めた舞と、心に響くお囃子。

Last year, I worked as MC and surtitles operator for the one-night-only Noh and Gregorian chant collaboration Holy Mother of Nagasaki—a story of rebirth and prayer after the atomic bombing—presented @seymoursydney for the 80th anniversary. A recording will be screened April 18–19 at the National Noh Theatre. Featuring a powerful performance for peace by Kanji Shimizu, a deer friend of my late father and someone I deeply respect. Playing a clumsy but wholehearted Japanese mum was one of my favourite roles as a bilingual actor and puppeteer. I miss my dragon family so much.

As we wrap up our third year, my heart is full of gratitude.
This year, Omusubi Productions 🍙expanded beyond what I ever dreamed possible.
We remounted The Face of Jizo to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing, with original Japanese text and English subtitles, honoring resilience, and peace.
Little Bozu and Kon Kon — my original puppet show inspired by Japanese folklore — toured interstate, reaching new audiences and communities.
As an event partner of Pass the Baton, we had the honor of being part of welcoming Hiroshima survivor Keiko Ogura to Sydney for the first time, listening together to her life-changing, urgently important story.
Through these works, we connected with audiences aged 0 to over 80— theatre-goers and non-theatre-goers alike — and were embraced by the Japanese community and beyond.
I am deeply grateful to the artists, mentors, producers, theatre companies, cultural organizations, and supporters who walked alongside us.
I wish for a world that grows closer, safer, and more open — a world where we can keep sharing the stories that matter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
