We are so sad to hear about the passing of Ryan Cross. He was a huge sweetheart and a singularly unique person and artist. We really hoped to share a lot more stages with you Ryan. We asked her: What is your relationship to Country Music
Jen: My relationship to country music has been in small surprises throughout my life, like hearing Patsy Cline for the first time or discovering that Dolly Parton wrote Jolene when I’d first heard it covered by Sisters of Mercy- that blew my mind and opened my ears to new ways of appreciating a wonderful song. Good music is good music no matter the genre and country has some incredible gems just waiting for an open mind, to mine.
