Been super lucky to have filmed the process of making Japanese Denim so I thought why not just pick some of my favourite shots!
These were taken from the AW campaign we filmed for @lee101official at the Kaihara Mill, Hiroshima where they spin and dye the cotton.

Another one of my go to filming techniques, the static shot! Love how intentional you have to be for static shots. You can really spend time making sure the framing is exactly how you planned!
For candid static shots, you can really just let your camera roll and just let the scene tell its own story.

Hereās how I use a 2x2 and 3x3 grid during the post production process to make sure that iāve framed my shots correctly!
After Iāve added all my footage to the timeline, I like to add these grids to double check my composition. I then make adjustments when I need to!

So mad to see the process of canvas making and even more interesting how Seuvas uses this fabric to create their clothes!
Filmmaking-wise tho, this was during the time when I took my FS7 with me to this Japan trip, so 80% of the shots in this video are from the older FS7 and the rest are with the FX30 š

Life recently as a filmmaker in London, April is almost done and Iāve pretty much spent most of it in the office š
but I did also get to explore outside and did some other side quests like hosting a photowalk with @jaydonguiler@michelleylens@litcreativecrew and got a work out in with @dumpedlingss (ofc had to get @panaderabakery_ after)
