Happy epiphany! Today’s the day. King cake, masks, romping and stomping, bells and horns and gallivanting and celebrating the deepest forms of life all the way up to what must consider “Fat Tuesday” but what I consider my new year. Bless this epiphany. Today you can eat king cake. Today we begin the ascent into other worldly freedom. Today, We burn our Christmas trees and anything else that is burnable that no longer serves us. We begin the epic and beautiful chaos of taking to the streets, together. Bless this holiday. Be on the lookout for my new masks, some for sale, and other celebration head pieces and glorious and transformative joy. Bless you all!!!

Tuesday Oct 7 at 717 Crockett! 4-9! If you haven’t noticed, I make music but I don’t play shows much at all and I don’t release my music on platforms. I’ve released songs within art exhibits since 2011? I dunno. Every year or two, you’ll hear something I’ve created within the confines of specific time and space and then it disappears forever, staying only in the ether and memories of those present. Tuesday is your only chance to experience the “telephone” show where four artists played a game of telephone over the course of two years with their pieces….. make a piece, call the next artist, describe it, try to make what you think they described, call the next artist and describe that. Voila. I wrote a song for each series. Four songs. One night. Four phones. Come and hear ! #magicprobablymaybe #tinyalive #musicalphone

This Saturday September 27 6-9 pm 717 Crockett street and October 7, 6-9pm at same location. • •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• “Telephone is an exhibition about human communication and the fidelity (or infidelity) of ideas as imagery. Inspired by the children’s game ‘telephone’ we carried out a visual experiment. Four artists began by making one original piece known as the” original message.” In turn, each artist created a new work based only on a phone call description of the one before it. The final pieces are not exact copies but rather a series of interpretations, each one adding a new layer of meaning, misunderstanding, mystery. Sound artist tiny alive built four sound installations in response to the final pieces of visual art in the telephone chain. The result is an auditory experience through the receivers of analog telephones. Each song was written specially for each series of paintings. Sound artist der liegesessel recorded Telesessions, a series of works on modular synthesiser examining the concept of entropy.
