“Kitten Heels” This film means the world to me. It’s a little piece of me. And the people I worked with made this experience so very special. When I was adding up the cast, the crew, the donors, and the mentors, I realized that it took over 100 people to make this film. Thank you to my team, who worked their asses off, whist also showing unwavering kindness and generosity of spirit. Thank you to my actors, who reminded me why I want to do this for the rest of my life. And thank you to my friends, my family, and my partner, who made me feel loved the whole time. My BTS Photographer, and best friend, Victoria Wilcox @torian.studios , thank you for taking these beautiful photos. “Maisey”— my first passion project— a short film I’ve been working on since early January. Now that we’ve wrapped, all I feel is gratitude. I am so grateful for this opportunity made possible by the @tu_ugresearch CARAS Grant. I am grateful for my mentor, Micah, who whole heartedly supported my crazy ideas. I am grateful for my parents, who helped me feed and house this incredible crew. My mom worked so hard to make everyone feel at home, providing us with wonderful and nutritious meals. I’m grateful for my actors, who gave beautiful, authentic performances. And this crew!
