Cat is out of the bag - many of you already know I have been working at Gammatime for a while now, and we are so lucky to have @sandrayeeling joining as our Head of Production! I am so excited to be working with her as Manager of Production as Gammatime jumps into 2026 - get ready, we are cooking up some exciting stuff!

@simonjschneider and I had the honor of being invited to Amazon Studios last week to talk about the process of making our thesis film Degree of Certainty and how our creative team combined cutting edge technology with hard work and detailed filmmaking craft to develop the 1980s look our story takes place in. It was a thrill to tour the studio grounds and get the chance to represent our school, alongside some really fantastic filmmakers. Last week, we wrapped our (@americanfilminstitute ) AFI Visual Essay, Camino. As cliche as it sounds, making this was a dream come true! First and foremost because, our community—friends, family, peers all showed up to support by either donating their time or resources to the movie, offering advice and guidance, contributing our GoFundMe, or to cheer us on. Thank you, we are filled with gratitude.
Telling a poetic story about riding bikes, in a special part of this unique land in Southern California (The Angeles National Forest) with the incredible pro-cyclist, Dante Young—these are the kinds of elements I’ve wanted to cultivate on screen at AFI, and we did it! What a rewarding process. Cheers to bringing our passions and ideas to the screen (on 35mm film).

2) Line Produced my first film - FINDING YIYI, an AFI thesis produced by the one and only @michelle777889 (pictured here after we both got soaked at Jurassic World). I’m so proud of her, @baooole and @konoriver for making this beautiful movie! And I’m so excited for Michelle to be line producing my thesis this May
@ninelivesandre and I are proud to announce BREAKING & ENTERING has just been selected as a finalist at @ethosfilmawards , chosen to screen as part of the “Late Night Stories” short film block on Saturday November 9th at 9:45 PM at the Laemmle Monica Film Center. As nominees for BEST DRAMATIC SHORT at the @cityofangelswomensfilmfest for BREAKING & ENTERING, @ninelivesandre and I had a lovely time attending their wonderful awards gala tonight. And the best part about it was getting to know @lisakcrosato , the festival director, and all of the incredible filmmakers who we got to meet and whose work we got to see.
Special shoutout to @brooke.westphal , whose wonderful short YOUNG PEOPLE won best first filmmaker and who was sitting next to us when she (quite deservedly) won, and @tommydickie (producer for STAMPILA, another great winner) who killed it with the pink suit. Next up for us is @ethosfilmawards in November - stay tuned for ticket details!
