Stoked to have @johnludwickjr@ludwicksgarage fly over too the UK and stay with us for a while as we worked together, to fit up all the parts that I fabricated up for it over the last few months. It’s amazing how different this is to be around now, the whole feel of the car has totally changed.
It’s absurd that something that has as much impact as this can just be driven around and enjoyed 😂. Can’t wait to get it out to some events soon.

Have been battling with this car over the last few months. Had no end of problems/bodges to deal with and it’s all kind of felt like a waste of time/money over and over again, with no satisfying end in sight…
Today though, it feels like my car again.
If you don’t know, I sold this ‘79 Porsche 924 10+ years ago and regretted it ever since. For some reason this car made a lasting impression on me and I’ve never quite been able to forget it. I bought it back in March this year, after very nearly leaving it on the guys driveway (it was a total POS, which sucked. The last 10 years had been very hard on it).
It’s back though, not only fixed up with everything working like it should be, but also nice adjustable suspension + some tasty Enkei wheels + chunky rubber.
Pretty much everything has been gone through underneath and in the engine bay - and this thing now drives, handles, shifts and sounds like I want. It’s taken me a while to get all the adjustments on the suspension perrrfect, but today everything came together and I had my first enjoyable drive in it!
924’s are sheds and I’d have a hard time recommending them to anyone 😂 however when you do get a ‘good one’ they are a really fun little car - and I’m totally in love with how this one looks now. Purposeful chunky stance with the right tyres does everything.
Some cars are just very easy to love. This is one of them.
Doesn’t take up any room, runs on almost nothing, comfortable, fun, Red… Ticks every box 😆 #fiatcinquecento
Maybe the shittest car I’ve bought in a long time - but nostalgia is a powerful thing and I’ve missed this car badly since letting it go for the wrong reason in 2015😂.
