Busy busy at the moment, hence the lack of posts. Couldn’t miss showing this one though... Allan’s Mint Green ‘68! This came to us for the full Air-Ride works, and has left as potentially one of my favourites we’ve ever done. What an absolutely killer looking car. Our work comprised of fitting up: One of our full bolt-in Premium air suspension setups, with 4” narrowed front beam + drop spindles. 4-way management system, with twin 444c compressors and custom made ‘Floater’ install base (mounted further forwards to clear the audio gear installed) + fuel tank raise. Nankang tyres, in 155/60 up front and 185/65 rear. Some new brake parts, including a new master cylinder, rear drums + hardware and some hub seals. Awesome car this, with one of the most ‘shouldn’t work but absolutely does’ wheels and colour combinations. Full YT vid coming soon on this one, I’m not finding much time to edit stuff atm 😂 #EvaResto

Big recommissioning/sort out job on this gorgeous ‘66 Karmann Ghia SA import for David. This car I’m particularly fond of! Ghia’s as straight and authentic feeling as this one are very few and far between now. Now, this one drives as well as it looks. What a beaut! #EvaResto

Bright enough? 😛 Lovely 90’s style Beetle we have in for an Air Install right now. It’s great when we get the opportunity to do something off-the-wall #EvaResto

NINOVE READY ✅ The SP2 has had a load of work over winter in preparation, it feels great to have been driving it around in the nicer weather recently! No change on the outside, but lots of niggles and annoyances have finally been ironed out - so it’s ready for its first Euro trip 😎. Work has included a full new wiring loom by @aircooled_auto_elec , a 2kw diesel heater fitted (peep the stealth ashtray mounting!) + a fresh air blower fan, some general maintenance work, rebuilt alternator (again) and some fresh additions like NOS indicator lenses and finally a rear valence 😂. Can’t wait to be cruising this lovely machine through Belgium 🙌 #EvaResto

@ben_strong33 Gorgeous 1960 356B has been in recently for some work. We had a hand in fitting full air suspension to this car back in around 2020. It was awesome, and drove mega - but with this car being such a collectors piece and soon to be moved on to a new owner
it’s all been removed and reverted back to stock underneath. All our modifications gone, some real work has gone into getting this thing back to A1 underneath. Jesse formed some beautiful chassis repair sections and grafted them in, you’d never know anything was otherwise! Now set back up on all the original hardware - just with a slight tweak down from factory to the ride height of course, it would be rude not to. Alongside this we’ve also took care of a couple of gearbox leaks, and tied up a few loose ends elsewhere too. Incredible car and a real treat to have back in the shop 😎 #Porsche #356 #356B #EvaResto

Johns SP2, what an absolute peach 😍. I’d say one of my favourite cars we’ve ever had in the shop. You all know our affinity with SP2’s at this point
so having not just one, but two of these special cars in the shop has been brilliant. This one started off as a pretty decent car, but still needed its fair share of recommissioning, refinement and of course an injection of our usual ride height & wheels based style 😛. This thing has been an absolute joy to work on, and the results of all the labour and parts it’s had have given us such a sweet sweet driver & looker. Delivered from the port directly to us, it’s been our job to get this car ready for John. We sourced the wheels, a genuine set of Porsche BBS 3-Pc at his request, built a suspension kit around it to allow them to fit best, specced some tyres that would look and feel the best - and let the rest follow. It’s had one of our special ‘camber beams’ at the front, similar to what’s on our Bagged SP2 (just a little less aggressive), adjustable plates in the rear, SPAX adjustable shocks all round
and basically completely new brakes, lines and other mechanicals. We also took care of some repair to the floorpan, tidied some electricals, went through the engine and fitted up a set of 34 ICT’s in place of the old worn out originals. I’ve said already, but this thing is SWEET. Not only to look at, but it drives like it’s on rails. It rides, handles and holds the road much better than stock, it’s a real little sports car! it even goes pretty well with the stock 1700. Now ready for the summer, bring on the good weather 😎 #EvaResto #VwSP2 #SP2

Taking it back to 2007! Anyone who’s visited the shop in the last 2 years or so will recognise this car, It’s become part of the furniture here! 😅Originally our job on this was to replace the air suspension system on the car for ours, and try to get the car roadworthy/driving properly. Upon taking the car in though, it became apparent that much more work was needed if this were ever to be a proper roadworthy and safe car
as basically everything beneath the metal-flake paint and cool interior was total đŸ’©. A cool showpiece it was, but not really put together to do anything more than roll on and off of trailer it seems
a story all too familiar in showcar land 😛. A full body-off rebuild commenced, with the chassis repaired where needed, a standard style (but slightly raised) frame head fitted in place of the super crazy quadbike style A-arm style front end, rear end weld-on kit removed - and the chassis fully rebuilt with our bolt-in kits + a 4” beam up front. The body received a good amount of work too, with repairs/strengthening to the custom pedal assembly which hinges from the top, and work to actually ‘seal’ the engine tinware by adding the necessary bodywork/trays that sit around the engine. The engine has been gone through and tuned properly, the wiring loom replaced for new (keeping that mad Dakota Digital panel though of course), and other improvements/changes made all over the place. Hydro clutch works great with a new Wilwood cylinder, new 4-way manual air management has made its way in, and new Nankang tyres all round are fitted to these awesome Billet Specialties 17’s and 18’s. We’ve spent a good bit of time recently ironing out the niggles, and the results are a great driver that goes, rides and stops like you’d want. It’s been a long old road, but we’re finally ready to hand it back over to the owner, who’s looking forward to driving it again for the first time in over 15 years! #EvaResto

@midlands_aircooled_swap_meet ready! We’ve gone big this time, and brought along a load of our pre-built favourites like Beams, spring plates and other custom bits - and a good chunk of our service/repair stuff too! Got some great show deals on, and of course no lead times on anything we’ve brought along
 Come say hi! #EvaResto

Alan Smart’s Speedster. This thing is cool! Full Premium Air Suspension by us, with bolt-in IRS rear, and 2” narrowed beam up front + Zenith shocks. New found style (lows 😎) and improved ride quality and feel over the pre-existing setup, it’s all wins! We covered the whole thing start to finish on our YouTube, check it out if you’ve got some time you don’t value 😆 #EvaResto #Speedster #ChesilSpeedster

@low70resto Has been back in the shop for a new front air suspension kit. Gone now is the pure sketchy home-made front kit, and in its place one of our Premium setups, with a 4” narrowed beam and Zenith shocks đŸ‘č. Lovely! New Viair 444c comp made its way in too, replacing an old wheezing no-name pump 😛 #EvaResto

Johns SP2 coming along nicely. We already know that BBS RS’ look great on an SP2. Slightly smaller lip + much bigger tyre though? That’s a combo that really REALLY works đŸ€€. #EvaResto

2025 - THANK YOU! What a year it’s been. Probably the hardest, but maybe the most rewarding also. The great friends, cars and experiences that this little workshop has given us can’t be beaten though, and 2025 has been absolutely at the top of the leaderboard for these! We’ve worked on so so many cars (most of which don’t get posted up here), done countless suspension installs, expanded our website range a little more, and hosted our first proper event with @johnludwickjr In July, which went so well it became instantly one of the best days of my life, haha. 2025 also marked 10 years since the start of EvaResto in one shape or another. And we wouldn’t be anywhere if not for the trust put in us by our customers. So, for that, THANK YOU everyone who’s ever supported us in any way at all. Not much changing for 2026. Same old, same old coming up đŸ€Ł #EvaResto
