A dance piece that emerges from an exploration of the concept of “state” and its human, political, and animal associations. Die Choreografie entsteht in Kooperation sowie durch Improvisation und physischer Arbeit. Das b12 Festival ist ein lebendiger Raum für künstlerische Prozesse, mutige Experimente und internationalen Austausch in einer stetig wachsenden Community. Das Festival findet jährlich in drei Editionen in Berlin statt und bringt professionelle Tänzerinnen, Performer*innen und Choreograf*innen aus aller Welt zusammen. Im Zentrum steht die Förderung von Künstler*innen, die bereit sind, emotionale und physische Risiken einzugehen – sowohl auf der Bühne als auch im kreativen Prozess. asteroids ist ein Performance-Projekt des b12-Festivals, das die künstlerische Forschung und die Entwicklung neuer Arbeiten in den Mittelpunkt stellt. Über drei Abende hinweg präsentieren internationale Choreograf*innen ihre aktuellen Arbeiten, die in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den b12-Teilnehmer*innen während intensiver Workshops entstanden sind.
