No, lifting weights won’t make you “bulky” if you don’t want to be. But it’s also totally fine to be bulky, actually. (I don’t consider myself particularly “bulky,” but some people do). No one, male or female or any variations thereupon, gets jacked by accident. You have to do it ON PURPOSE. I get a lot of negative comments on social media (never in real life, interestingly) about my body. Most of them I can just brush off, but I got one a while back that actually hurt, because it goes against everything I try to promote. Someone commented on one of my photos “This is the reason women are afraid to lift weights. They don’t want to look like you.” That one stung, and I hope that isn’t true. The good news is, if you don’t want to look like me, YOU WONT! I *chose* this and have spent the last six years working intentionally towards it. some people have different preferences for how they want their bodies to look (crazy concept, I know). Lifting weights won’t make you bulky, unless you WANT to be. In which case, go off, queen. Get them gains. 💪🏻 📸: @happytriggerla

Living out my dreams of being a @borisvallejoartist painting. Chainmail bikini was surprisingly comfortable once I got over how cold the metal was when I first put it on. I encourage you to turn the sound on, because what do you mean a medieval cover of “hips don’t lie” exists 😂 📸: @happytriggerla Chainmail made by @gilleban Shot at @inclusionaryfilmstudios And yes, lots more of this set is coming to my 🔥 page soon.

I’m gonna whip out this video now whenever some chud tries to tell me that any man, even untrained, will always be stronger than me because I’m a woman lol Watch to the end to see me defeat both of them at once. Thanks @sufficientlyadvanced for unearthing this footage 😂

For Christmas in 2019, I was gifted a subscription to a training program with an online coach (@nataschaencinosa 💕). I had been working out on my own for a few months before that, but really didn’t know what I was doing and wasn’t following any programming or direction. I started working with that coach in January of 2020. At first, I would only work out in my apartment complex’s gym, and only late at night when I knew nobody would be there. I was small and weak and scared but I did the thing anyway. And eventually I became less small, and less weak, and not scared anymore. This January marks 6 years I’ve been on this journey. Through different training styles (bodybuilding-style training at first, then powerlifting, then CrossFit) and vastly different body shapes (all told I’ve gained ~35 pounds and dropped 10% body fat), coaches, illnesses (3 rounds of Covid? 4?I don’t remember) and injuries (including several broken bones lol), I have stayed consistent. Not perfect (never perfect), but consistent. It has changed me in so many more ways than physical. Here’s to another year of getting stronger, better, healthier, and happier. 💪🏻

“I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.” 📸: @happytriggerla 👗: @syrenlatex #latex #rainroom #cyberpunk #bladerunner #fitnessmodel #girlswholift #crossfitgirls

So, here’s the thing. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to be great. You don’t have to be the best. You don’t have to have your shit together, you don’t have to wake up at 5am or do ice baths or only eat unprocessed raw home-grown soy-free gluten-free dairy-free homeopathic antioxidant-rich kelp hearts or whatever. You don’t have to meditate or do yoga (though those things are great if you like doing them; I personally do not lol) or stop eating carbs (plz don’t, you need carbs) or stop having fun. You just have to keep. Fucking. Going. Like, I’m actually a human disaster. I’m a straight up mess. I don’t even remotely have my shit together; hell, I don’t even know where half of my shit *IS*. if being a fuckup was an Olympic sport, they’d have to invent a medal above gold for me. I used to look at influencers online, or even other people that I knew IRL, and hate myself for not being like them. Hate myself if I missed a workout, or half-assed a workout because I wasn’t feeling it, or missed a lift or didn’t hit a PR or ate a “wrong” thing or slept too much (or not enough) or gained too much weight or couldn’t gain enough weight or or or… But I have managed to do one thing consistently for the past 6 years. it’s part dopamine-seeking, part coping mechanism, and part secret third thing, but it makes my brain shut up for a while and it makes my body do *gestures to video* this. So if you’re holding yourself back by thinking you need to be perfect in order to get the results you want? Stop. Stop doing that and just do the thing. if you wait until you’re perfect, you’ll be waiting forever (unless you’re already perfect, in which case what does it feel like to be God’s favorite and why are you even reading this) Also, don’t ask about the F1 music. I just thought it was cool.
