New year needs a new reel - even if cutting my own work melts my brain like gouda. Thanks to all the lovely crew, creatives, prod cos, brands, and agencies behind the work!!
As a Brit abroad, Iām constantly getting lists of Aussie flicks to watch. Kenny turned out to be the cultural education I didnāt know I needed - required viewing before getting the chance to work with the legendary @theshanejacobson ! Spot dropping soon
Been throwing some of my old travel photos into Runway to see what happens. Hit and miss but this one turned out pretty cool - swipe to see.
I keep bouncing between interest and exasperation on the AI thing. Excited about all the ways it can improve the work, but also pretty angsty about the ways it might harm the industry of people who make it.
A bunch of images generated from recent pitches.
Iāve been reflecting on how seamlessly AI has integrated into my treatment process. I donāt think Iāll ever stop digging through other work for references and inspiration, but there is actually something quite rigorous about trying to translate your intention for a shot or concept into tangible prompts that MidJourney can understand.
Rather than just stumbling on existing references and attaching to them, Iāve found banging my head against MidJourney quite helpful for thinking things through.
