Introducing a pilot episode of HANDYCAM: DEATH, SPIRITS & A STRIP CLUB EXORCISM.
I needed a break from sitting in a dark room grading nice pictures... so took an old handycam out into the wide open world to capture some un-gradeable footage of people with lives way more interesting than mine.
What we thought would be kinda novelty coverage of a best hearse competition led us on a breadcrumb trail of people who opened up on their experience with death, grief and the bleed between this world and the next.
I'm casting this into the tar pit of 'youtube journalism' in the hope it'll dredge up more stories – if you have any ideas please let me know. Me and my vitamin d deficiency will love you for it.

My brain is now functioning enough take a second to virtually high five all the angels who helped out this weekend. The cats are basically fatherless while ted locks himself away in the dungeon to smash out an edit. He's a man possessed.
