I was planning to share a post about the two wonderful gigs that happened to me recently, but after receiving these photos, I just couldn’t wait. When I’m 80 years old, I’ll be proud to show these to my grandkids — because, honestly, they are proof that I truly lived, through some moments of pure joy.
27.03.2026 That was ecstatic fun.
I am deeply grateful to:
@rakaethe55 — for your warm heart, for being a light in a foggy moment, for offering friendship and support, and for transcribing the untranscribable
@susi_lotter — for the invitation, and for switching between bass and contrabass God knows how many times, grooving through it like a goddess
@jakobmarsmann — for making everything so smooth and calming my worries, proving me wrong when I thought I couldn’t do this without percussion
@maxfeig___ — for supporting us with his soft, drifting guitars throughout the whole set, and for the hugs, of course!
And to everyone who came after the show, or wrote me a message and shared their experience — thank you so much for your time and your open hearts <3 At moments like this — when I am on stage, singing these stories, losing control with a group of people, sharing the moment again and again — laughing during and after the songs, sweating, winking at each other — I feel alive. And when people come up afterward and say that these stories, these songs, these moments they witnessed made them feel — happy, moved through grief, excited, inspired — I feel that everything is in its right place. That, perhaps even for a moment, I can make a small change in people’s hearts for the better — just as I have always dreamed with my music.
Thank you
@jazzclub_unterfahrt for such a warm welcome!
