I'm very late to this party, but I needed a little time to process. Back in 2023, I made my Broadway debut in this beautiful play. When Good Night, Oscar closed at the Belasco theatre, I bade Oscar Levant a fond farewell in the hopes that perhaps we would meet again down the line and that I might be afforded the chance to explore him more fully. 2 years later, and that dream was so richly realized in theost extraordinary way. Thank you to Peter Amster, Peter Rothstein, the entire cast and crew and all the folks at the gorgeous @asolorep in Sarasota. Thank you to my wonderful parents for making the long trip across the pond to be there for opening. To @tc.safavi for... well, everything. To @quillsauthor62 for your brilliant play and trust in me and for coming to opening with @declementia . My folks were so thrilled to meet you both and share stories over dinner! This is the play that keeps on giving. Soon its off to London to reunite with @seanhayes and @ben_rappaport and a brand new company. More discoveries await. Now more than ever, I can rest easy in the knowledge that it's not "if" I'll see Oscar again, but rather "when". What a lucky boy I am. And so, for now, "Good night, Oscar Levant.... wherever you are."

What a dream you've been, Hills of California. Joining a company that already had such a deep bond forged in sisterhood, storytelling and talent in London was daunting. I needn't have worried. @laurafdonnelly @lealeabest @opheliabits @helena_louise_wilson @sophia.allyy @nicolaturnerrr @nancyallsopn @laramcdonnellofficial I cannot thank you enough for the warmth of your character and the ferocity of your storytelling. Thank you for embracing me. @bryan__dick for your extraordinary timing and humor and Richard Lumsden for your immense kindness and entrusting me to take care of Mr. Potts and Joe Fogg in your absence. To our American contingent: @tareacampbell for being my OG friend and confidant. @davidwilsonbarnes for your intelligence and staying late to talk. Richard Short for all things football. @liambxb for Duck, Larry and being the 4th member of the Alaska Room. @sawyer_barth for your wit and humility. And of course my brother @camscoggs ... can't wait to give your best man speech. @jessicabaglow @ellynheald @lizzardpearce @erinroseleigh @sadie.veach @qperstar : none of this would have been half as meaningfull without all of your special spirits backstage and deeply felt performances onstage. I love each and every one of you. Our amazing crew, lead by @veronawall @ashleyrosegal and @zoe_gabrielle27 . Thank you for keeping it all ticking with such grace and humor. Finally. @tc.safavi . I don't have sufficient adjectives to hand. You are a light. I see you, love you, respect you and honor you always. ❤️ Last slide was taken at a gin bar in Reykjavik where she settled my nerves with gin and her own brand of absolute confidence in me. I booked the job a few days later. It's not often you get to work with Sam Mendes and Jez Butterworth. Geniuses both. This one was special. So we say not "goodybe", but rather "Au revoir" X

#latergram from last Christmas and New Year's with @max.roll82 and both of our families. Spent December in Gran Canaria with his parents (swipe for him dancing with his mum) and then visited my brother @kavehts and sister in law @annarocheclark in Chicago for New Year's. I said yes. 💍

4 Years on: I don't actually remember a whole lot from March 2020. I remember snapping this picture of people going about their business at the farmers market by Prospect Park. Covid was, we now know, already rampant. A day or two after I took this, New York went into lockdown. I had just returned to the US finally able to work. In February 2020, I was separated and living with my good friends Equadorian mom and her brother on the doorstep to the park. I had a small room to myself and shared the rest if the apartment with them. My parents, of course, were in the UK. None of us knew what was coming. The next stretch of time was so hard- for everybody. Sometime in November 2020 with rumors of a vaccine on the horizon and Biden in office, a friend of mine asked me if I'd participate in a Zoom reading of a new series a friend of hers had written. Something about Charlemagne and stabby princesses and vikings. Thank God, I thought too myself, at least it's not another mundane apartment play where they bicker about the laundry or sex or who's not pulling their weight. I was intrigued and said yes. That's when I met TC Safavi. The universe whispered and shifted, inviting me to take a chance. I listened. Those first few weeks and months of socially distant walks in the park, slowly getting to know each other were a catalyst for all the other pictures in this post that follow the first. Truth is, my camera is so full of incredible memories of the last few years, it would take 100 posts to include even half of them. I've met and grown to love so many people. I've been given so much joy. I've learned new things (HELLO Flying Trapeze!). I joined the Broadway community. I'm looking forward to healing and growing and loving more. Four years. A blink of an eye and eternity all in one. I'm proud of me. I'm rich beyond measure. To everyone I've met along the road, to new friends and old, THANK YOU for being in my life. Don't forget to listen. Sometimes mother earth speaks in whispers. Much love.

Today, the curtain comes down at Good Night, Oscar. My first Broadway show. I feel such a mixture of emotions- grief, gratitude, pride, joy. Love. Love for Doug for writing this beautiful piece. Love for Lisa and our producers for trusting in me to step in. Love for Sean and the entire company for the noble work they engaged in every day. Love for the whole team at the Belasco. Love for Oscar Levant and his innumerable gifts. Perhaps I'll see you again. But for now. "Good Night, Oscar Levant... wherever you are."
