A few days ago I lost both my best friend, my adventure buddy and my rock. Occy fell asleep beside me and never woke up. I was not ready. I am not ready. But I am so damn grateful for him.
Over the past 14 years Occy has helped guide me through the highest of highs and lowest of lows. He taught me what unconditional love is and that a good dinner dance should always be rewarded. I can never say enough good things about him. He was simply, the best.
I’m now consoling myself with the knowledge that he lived the best life. But god damn I’m gonna miss the big hairy man.

I found these beautiful doors in a house that was being demolished and picked them up for a steal (along with an entire kitchen). Can’t say installing them was easy.. but pretty happy with the outcome.

It’s not uncommon to hear a married couple say that their wedding was the best day of their lives. But what is uncommon is that it was also one of the best for all those that attended.
I am still coming down from not only seeing my best friends finally get married, but the pure energy that was around all weekend ✨ Thank you for letting me play a part in your special day.

The past few days were some of the craziest and most surreal of my life!
As I sit with shaky legs in Hong Kong airport on a 9 hour layover to get home (thanks points) and process everything I am just feeling so damn grateful. So grateful to have these wild opportunities. So grateful to have such beautiful friendships. So grateful for the beauty that exists in this world.
Heli-boarding has been on my bucket list for a lonnnng time and is something I will never forget! My body will certainly take a little time to recover 😅

Bec here with a secondary caption (hehe) 👋🏻 Just wanted to add that I feel so incredibly grateful to have each one of these humans in our life. It would be soooo easy for all of us to use our physical distance as a reason why it’d be hard to maintain these friendships and yet I see this group more than friends who live in Toronto. This last year specifically was a challenging one for our family and all of these humans opened their hearts even more to support us. They flew across the world MULTIPLE times just to hang out with us and sleep on our tiny apartment’s couch. They chose to take weeks off work/adventures/downtime just to check in on us.
