Un quintetto d’eccezione con musicisti della scena jazz siciliana, nazionale e internazionale: 🎺 Alessandro Presti – tromba 🎷 Francesco Patti – sax 🎹 Roberto Brusca – pianoforte 🎻 Davide Inguaggiato – contrabbasso 🥁 Mauro Patti – batteria Batterista e compositore siciliano, laureato in Giurisprudenza e diplomato in jazz al Conservatorio Toscanini, si è poi formato al Siena Jazz sotto la guida di insegnanti come Jeff Ballard, Greg Hutchinson, Jim Black, Ziv Ravitz e Ferenc Nemeth. Vincitore del Conad Jazz Contest 2022 con i Five Angry Men, si è esibito in contesti di rilievo come Umbria Jazz e il Blue Note di Milano. Dopo diversi lavori autoprodotti, nel 2023 ha pubblicato Telamon (Dodicilune), un album che unisce jazz mediterraneo e scrittura originale. Mauro è adesso in uscita con due nuovi progetti discografici: un disco registrato ad Accra con musicisti afro-jazz locali e Palma Nana, registrato in Italia con jazzisti italiani e dedicato all’highlife ghanese. Being able to communicate on the bandstand is one of the most unique and important aspects of playing small group jazz which a lot of people (especially young musicians) tend to neglect Using motifs and playing rhythmically is one of the easiest ways to communicate with your band mates and it’s super rewarding. It’s always super fun when you have a great drummer like @mauro_pattern who is always listening and picking up on the ideas you play. Can anyone guess the tune?
