2024 feierte das Hip-Hop- Festival „Rolling Loud“ seine Premiere in Österreich. Gründer Matt Zingler ist trotz einiger Kritik zufrieden mit dem Start – auch deshalb soll Wien nun eine Fixgröße im Kalender von „Rolling Loud“ werden, denn zehn Jahre nach dem allerersten Festival planen Zingler und sein Partner Tariq Cherif eine aggressive internationale Expansion. Das Ziel: eine globale Lifestylemarke zu schaffen. „Wir wollen so etwas wie Starbucks aufbauen“, sagt Zingler.

In 2026, Rolling Loud has become a behemoth in the festival space.
The punishing Miami heat, bodies crashing in the pit and the buzzing excitement shared by the thousands is a sight to behold. Over the years, some of the scene’s biggest stars and most promising acts came and went, but @rollingloud has one mission: to get back to the music.

Even if you don't know his name, you sure as hell know his work. Zingler is the CEO of @rollingloud , the world's largest hip-hop festival.
"A festival provides you an opportunity to meet like-minded people who enjoy music you enjoy," Zingler says when asked what he hopes first time attendees of Rolling Loud take away from the experience. "I think there's a great value to bringing everybody together every year. You could really walk away from Rolling Loud with some amazing friends and build amazing experiences for yourself aside from just seeing the music. What you get out of it is being there and being part of an amazing movement while seeing artists you might never get to see again."
