The marathon “wall” isn’t just physical… it’s mental too. 🧠 In this snippet, Alfie Manthorpe opens up about what was going through his mind during the London Marathon when everything started to slow down. The battle between stopping, pushing through, pride, and knowing where the limit really is 👀 Because in endurance sport, there’s a fine line between resilience and risking injury. Have you ever hit a point where your mind wanted to quit before your body did? ⬇️ @alfiemanthorpe @theafterdive @mattydiver

“You don’t need to rush the process.” 🏃‍♂️ On this snippet from The After Dive, Alfie Manthorpe opens up about one of the biggest things he’s noticed in running right now… people trying to do too much, too soon. With running booming more than ever, it’s easy to get caught up chasing PBs, mileage and comparisons online, but pushing too hard too early can often lead to burnout or injury. Alfie talks about the importance of patience, building properly, and playing the long game. Have you ever ignored the warning signs just to keep training? 👀👇 @alfiemanthorpe @theafterdive @mattydiver

AD Living a little more like an Icelander lately. Slowing things down, getting outside more, and actually making time to reset. It’s that balance I’ve been missing. I was invited out here by @arladairyuk and it’s been such a refreshing few days, genuinely great people and a very different pace to normal. Been keeping things simple with Arla Skyr. high in protein, properly satisfying, and fits into the day without overthinking it.
