Storyboard to Stills: Jamie Needs a Striped Shirt.
When working with @jkf_man on the @thomasmason_official series, Jamie would come up with a very clear story for each video. Jamie would then call me up and we'd talk through the idea in detail.
Then it would be over to me to begin storyboarding the idea ahead of sign-off and filming. These storyboards were essentially our shot-list for on the day and so had to be incredibly detailed and was also an opportunity for me to put in any fun ideas I thought might work. Jamie would then review and add some final ideas on top before locking the storyboards to shoot.
These storyboards were also shared with @itch_media who would chip in with ideas on how to accomplish certain shots. For the spray-paint can flying through the air, this was put in a vice which was attached to the front of the camera, @mattyc.mp4 would then arc the camera at speed from left to right to accomplish the finished effect.

Last year, myself (@mattyc.mp4 ) @mattperren_84 and @abhii.film travelled to Hungary to document the Buhurt World Championships @buhurt.international , following Team USA through one of the most brutal and unique combat sports in the world.
