But, their business model is being threatened by unfair international trade practices.
We need to stand up for trusted Canadian champions like these both for economic productivity but also national security.

I’m a physician, and I’ll tell you this clearly: it’s a bad idea to inject fentanyl or any other illicit drug.
But Liberal-appointed Chief Public Health Officer, @jossreimer can’t even say that plainly. I’m genuinely curious what “benefit” she thinks illicit fentanyl injection brings to Canadians.
The whole exchange was very bizarre.
The Liberals burned nearly $300 MILLION of your tax dollars on a failed Canada Health Infoway project, a failure even their own Health Minister now admits was a waste.
After wasting your tax money, what do the Liberals do?
They turn around and shovel ANOTHER $50 MILLION into the SAME company.
Under the Liberals, failure gets rewarded with more taxpayer cash.
Liberal insiders sat on the board of Canada Health Infoway while the Liberal government handed the organization $300 million of taxpayer money for a failed e-prescribing system.
The same political circle approving the funding was connected to the organization receiving it. Now Canadians can start to see why the cameras were turned off.
The Minister must now explain to Canadians where this money went.
Good morning Canadians. Your Liberal Health Minister @marjoriemichelplc says “let’s move forward” after $300 million of your tax dollars went to a failed program.
I would agree in principle, except by “moving forward” she means “give Health Infoway another $50 million to blow this year”
No, Minister, that’s not how it works. “Moving forward” means full disclosure and real accountability to prevent such waste in the future.
I had a conversation with Theresa tam’s replacement, @jossreimer .
We agree that trust in Canada’s public health institutions has been damaged by decisions made during the pandemic.
She even went so far as to acknowledge that some decisions somewhere were sometimes wrong.
But, she absolutely avoided specifying any particular decision that was sub-optimal.
This was disappointing, not only because a critical appraisal of institutional performance over the COVID pandemic is necessary to restore public trust, but also because it would be necessary to improve institutional performance for the next pandemic.
This refusal to acknowledge specific mistakes is not just a problem in public health, but across government institutions.
Very troubling.
BREAKING: Canada Health Infoway CEO Michael Green has been dismissed.
Conservatives just saved you ~$1 million/year!
But questions still abound:
Where did the other $299 million go?
If the CEO was performing so bad he needed to be “dismissed” why was he just given a $200k “performance” bonus.
Who signed off on his bonus?
And why have we still not seen the contracts?
Health minister @marjoriemichelplc , must answer for this!
