What started as an idea became a room full of light, passion, hunger, talent, laughter, learning, and community. We planned for 35 people. Almost 70 showed up. The hall was full. The energy was louder than we imagined. And somehow, it still felt like there was room for more. Gaffers Lab was more than a workshop. It was proof that there is a generation of lighting professionals across Africa who are ready to learn, grow, collaborate, and take up space.
