I finally made time to finish that animation I started a while ago - inspired by my trips to record stores and digging through stacks of vinyl hoping for a great find 💎🤞
It was also a chance to design some random album covers, experiment further with @cavalry.app , and have fun with sound design.

Reposting this animation from the 2024 @motionmotionfestival identity after it was unexpectedly removed for an unknown reason.
It’s been a year, but I’m still excited to share it again!
Making this animation was a great challenge, it really pushed me to experiment with how typography and motion work together, something I hadn’t really explored before.
Since then, I’ve spent a lot more time working with type and getting deeper into tools like @cavalry.app , which played a big part in this project.
Huge thanks to Petit Grand Studio for the amazing music and sound effects, whose soundscapes perfectly complement the animation’s vibe.
And thanks a lot to @mathieu.dellabe for the extra animation help on this.

Level Up is a documentary series that delves into France’s leading esports club @karminecorp@firstframestudio invited me to develop the visual identity of the project including the logo, title sequence and broadcast assets.
The design and animation are built on the concept of accumulating and releasing energy to reach the next level.
