Wir schreiben das Jahr 1995. Elektronische Musik wie Techno, House oder Drum'n'Bass etablieren sich und schaffen mittlerweile auch den Weg in die Charts. Es sind auch die Zeiten der Mayday und der Loveparade. Erstere – in Berlin gestartet – findet in dieser Zeit noch in verschiedenen Städten statt, bevor sie ab 1997 dann jährlich nur noch in Dortmund stattfindet. Die Loveparade findet zum letzten Mal auf dem Kudamm statt, im Jahr darauf ging es zur Siegessäule. Der Teenager Mathias Kaden aus Gera war so fasziniert von diesen beiden Events, dass er mit dem Auflegen startete, im Jahr darauf erstmals auch vor Publikum. Dreißig Jahre später feiert er sein DJ-Jubiläum, unter anderem mit einem neuen Album, das genau diesen Sound widerspiegelt, den er seit vielen Jahren auflegt: zeitlose Housemusik.

I’m still overwhelmed and incredibly happy after celebrating 30 years behind the decks at Muna.
I ended up playing 8 hours of music alone & back2back, which made the night even more special.

I had the absolute best experience with the crew from Roots💥
It honestly feels so good to know that there are still people who truly care about the artists they invite! not just booking a hotel and sending you back home. It was so much more than that.
From the very first moment, I felt genuinely welcomed and embraced with real warmth.
The party was incredible ….and the afterparty... Just as amazing.
