Since last year we have saved 6.9 tonnes of material from ending up in landfill. We want to keep going and takeback everything from samples, offcuts and materials to packaging and pallets. We sort reclaimed material for new applications and projects or recycling into new material.

From skate ramps to home interiors. These Shaped panels made from a 15 year old reclaimed Skatelite panel become the story of a meaningful design concept for a family who love skating, surfing and time outdoors.
Discovered at the Surface Design Show by designer Laura Parkinson at @palmer_and_stone , who wanted to highlight their ethos of collected aesthetic, loved by their clients, and “make the home feel as though it had been built over time” and Laura ‘“wanted to leave them with a home that could continue to be layered on over time”.
Material Rescue supports design with meaning and longevity. The reclaimed panels carry its story into a new setting, adding texture, depth and authenticity.

What happens when an interior space needs to be refurbished. It should be simple to reclaim and reuse the materials and furniture.
During recovery of a bakery store a well used @duratdesign till counter, with a few scratches from years of use, @_archworks_ get in touch to explore recovery Material. Still in excellent shape, skilled trades refinish and polish the surface, restoring its smooth, durable finish.
Each rescue project highlights the ongoing value of materials and their potential beyond single use. Through takeback and reuse, Material Rescue helps keep valuable materials in circulation.
